Phoenix

I read the first volume of Tezuka's Phoenix series. It was definitely interesting and very different to manga that is written now. The art style was fun and simple it kinda reminded me of cartoon comics that you can find in the news papers. The story was a little difficult to follow with how many times the focus of a character shifts. In this story it shifts at least 3 times and very quickly, I would have enjoyed it more if it slowed its pace and took time really flesh out the main characters since it's trying to focus on three of them. That kinda of happens briefly when Nagi is captured and is forced to train to become a master archer.
